Uniform Policy 2026-2027
Come join us for Meet the Teacher on Thursday, August 6th from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. Students who are completely registered will be able to find out who their teacher is on this date. You will be able to register for Extended Day, sign up for PTO, get transportation information, and pre-order spirit wear and clear backpacks from the Secret Scientist. You may also bring your school supplies to drop off in your classroom.
Students who are not completely registered will not be placed on a class roll or be able to register during this event. There will be an additional registration session on Friday, August 7th from 9:00 until 12:00 p.m.

ATTENTION INCOMING KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS
Incoming Kindergarten students who are zoned for Kate Shepard are invited to attend our Bridges program. The program will be held July 20-23 from 8:30 until 11:00 a.m. Students must be pre-registered online at https://www.mcpss.com/o/mcps/page/registration
AND must have completed in-person registration to be accepted.

June 23: 9:00 - 12:00 p.m. - Kindergarten - 5th Grade
July 7-9: 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. - Office Hours for Kindergarten registration only

We will hold our in-person registration on June 23rd and July 22nd from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
All students must provide two current proofs to register. Proofs may be submitted online during the online registration process or at our in-person registration events. All proofs are subject to vetting and verification before enrollment is verified. Falsified/fraudulent proofs will not be accepted.
New students must submit the following documents:
-Birth certificate
-Social security card
-Immunization card
-Parent ID
-2 Proofs of residence with parents name (one must be a current mortgage, lease, or rental agreement and one current utility bill)
On Saturday, May 17th, the Fifth Grade Math Team competed in the Mobile County Math Competition. There were 21 schools that participated in the competition. The competition consisted of a written exam and a ciphering component. Our Math Team came in fifth place in the ciphering component out of the 21 schools! We are so proud of our Scholars!
Ms. Blankenship's class cooled down on Monday afternoon with an ice cream sundae party, which was won in our auction! Auction winner Mary Elise kicked off the party and there were lots of sprinkles for everyone. It was a great treat on a warm day!
Ms. Bolton’s class celebrated National Law Day today with a visit from local lawyer Deborah McGowin. She spoke to them about the effort required to become a lawyer, as well as the variety of jobs a law degree allows for. There are a couple of aspiring lawyers in this class who want to become future judges. 📖 They also loved the City of Mobile goodie bags. 😎
